Venue: Lotte Hotel Moscow

Venue: Lotte Hotel Moscow

Time9.00 - 12.00

The leading trade publication of the Russian business tourism industry Buying Business Travel Russia invites you to take part in the round table «Business travel in 2015: frustration or recovery of the industry?"

The event will be held on February 3 at "Lotte Hotel Moscow" (Hall-transformer "Charlotte + Emerald"), from 9.00 to 12.00. The meeting will be devoted to the perspectives of the Russian market of business tourism and new models of interaction of its main players on the background of the unstable economic situation.

Discussion at the round table will bring together leading players of the business travel industry:

- Owners and CEOs of TMC (ATH Business Travel Solutions, Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Continent Express, FCm Travel Solutions, CBTC, IBC Corporate Travel, Unifest Travel, Zelenski Corporate Travel Solutions, «Aero Club", "Vipservis", "Hogg Robinson Group" )

- Corporate buyers representing major Russian and international companies

- Suppliers of business-travel services

Corporate buyers will learn firsthand about whether to expect changes in the value of the transaction, the tightening in terms of payment, and, consequently, to decide - to continue to borrow in the TMC or in the bank. If the TMC, then be prepared to revise the terms of the tender - the agency has stated that postpay in 60 business days is imposibble for them.

Topics of the round table:

1. The financial crisis: the collapse of the perspectives or recovery of the industry? What will happen with the market of business tourism in the context of a weakening of the ruble, the new banking system (raising rates, lack of access to loans due to the high "cost", the inability of loans and overdrafts) and the tense political situation?

2. Postpay / loans / receivables: consumer "extremism" or the need for corporate business? Why clients can not / do not want to give up lending by TMS? Why there is a problem of non-payment on the market, which sometimes reach up to 70% of current assets agency?

3. Strategy - survival: how TMC should operate on a falling market in the hard conditions of postpayment? Can we say that the Russian agencies have come to the brink, which crossing means  any business is meaningless?

4. Payment discipline: will TMCs statement about refusal the credit, tightening payment terms and strict control of payments become a reality? Or client "is right" as always? How TMC and the client will base their financial relations in the future? The experience of the West: who and how to assume the financial obligations of customer payments? Review and expert evaluation of the Russian market of banking solutions.

5. No purse, but the consultant: core competencies of the TMCs. What should business travel agencies really do? Do Russian market participants really have this knowledge and experience?

6. Industry to help: do other service providers of business travel market have ability to help TMCs with new schemes of agency fees, motivation programs, etc?

7. Consolidation of the market: how to protect the business from the crisis, not having our own pillow of financial security? Market on the verge of mergers and acquisitions, or will the "horror stories" about how "bankrupts are chilling on the market" become a reality? Other variants of the crisis: the rejection from direct agency work in favor to work by a consolidator, business process automation, and others.

During the discussion, we will try to answer, perhaps, the main question that cares both of suppliers and buyers: will the financial crisis become a shake-up for the industry and is Russian market of business tourism ready for era of fair competition and transparency?
