Hospitality Industry Forum in Russia: objective view on hospitality industry development in Russia

Hospitality Industry Forum in Russia-2014 will take place in Holiday Inn Moscow Suschevsky in June 2014. This event will unite owners, managers and hotel developers and will be focused on the discussion of the preparedness of the Russian hotel business for large-scale sport events, strategies of increasing profitability, efficient instruments of service positioning and promotion.

The Russian Association of Business Travel is the informational sponsor of the event and is taking part in the business part of the forum.

The forum will start from the discussion block where the participants will discuss preparation of the hotel industry to Winter Olympic Games in Sochi and to the World Football Championship 2018, infrastructure facilities, preparedness of accommodation facilities in Russian cities who host the Olympic Games, requirements to hotels.

The forum program will be continued by the section «Practical aspects of realization of successful hotel industry projects together with international hotel operators».

Speakers and experts will explain what cooperation schemes to choose, what cooperation forms are available, how to prepare the hotel to meet the standards of international hotel operators.

The topic of the second section is «Particular aspects of chain and non-chain hotel development». The following questions will be discussed:

• Examples of successful Russian hotel chain development. Management methods and service standards;
• Developer’s risks and profits when purchasing an uncompleted hotel project or an object that needs reconstruction;

The final part of the forum will be the section «Enhancing efficiency of hotel management». Hotel industry experts will present their reports:

• The main resources of hotel competitiveness and profitability;
• Efficient pre-opening as the prerequisite for the future high hotel occupancy;
• Efficient strategy of optimal use of main hotel income sources: rooms, F&B service, conference and extra services.
