Russia and CIS aviation development will be discussed at the International Forum of Adam Smith Institute

The 4th annual international forum «Airport development in Russia and the CIS 2014» will take place in Renaissance Moscow Monarch Centre on March 17-19, 2014. The informational partner of the event is the Russian Association of Business Travel. The main sponsors are Herbert Smith Freehills, ADPI and Lufthansa Consulting.

The event schedule includes the summit devoted to the rise in airport industry in the Ukraine, Belorussia, Moldova, Azerbaijan and Central Asia. The Baltic states will also be in the focus of discussion. A special report will be devoted to the development of regional airports and air traffic in Siberia, the Far East, Privolzhsky Federal district and the south of Russia.

Airport directors and industry experts will discuss the new growth strategy in the context of changing airport facilities. The program provides an opportunity to hold one-on-one extended meetings for airport managers. Another topic of the forum, «City to Airport», will include examples of world practices and the «Expert opinion» session.

Participants will have an opportunity to share their experience and strategies of increasing non-aviation revenues from goods, food and drink sales, the lease of real estate and other items of airport facilities.
